To win by landslide proportions, the 2004 Democratic nominee will simply need to ask Americans this: Do you want another four years like the last four?

I like the "Are you better off?" byline for sentimental reasons, and just because the Clinton years were such an economic triumph over both Bush's. But the "better off" aspect leaves off the foreign policy disaster that is Bush. Something even more troubling than this economic mess.

I really do feel like Bush will be defeated though. Hope its not a false positive.

I would love to hear a democrat (any one) ask "Are you better off?" in one of the debates.
