One has no control over another's acts.

But one has absolute -- ABSOLUTE -- control over how one decides to perceive them.

If someone is subjected to intercourse against her will and is not physically injured, can the act be "decided" not to have been rape, if the victim "wants to consider it such"?

Does reality get decided out of existence?

How about if one is robbed? Can a robbery be decided by its victim to have been a charitable donation if he or she notes during the commission that the, if I may be so bold, robber is poorly dressed, or perhaps because the victim has no time for a trip to the police station?

Would deciding that make it so?
