Dean has just become the media story. And stories dont last very long. Yes he has support but it's grassroots left-wing, it's not the people who decide elections. The Dean story will fade and the media will be ready for another story. Kerry will get his time in the spotlight again soon. Kerry hasn't "floundered" he just never gets the media attention anymore. But he will again. Especially when the race starts in earnest in October. I predict Kerry will still beat deanin the end. It just wont be as easy. Bottomline, dems want to win this time, not just make a protest statement. Kerry is far more qualified than Dean. He also knows how to win. The race has only just begun. Remember arnold was way ahead 10 days ago, now he's far behind Bustamante. Why? Media coverage and newness. But that doesn't last.
