OK, portability if key. A couple of Rupps or hondas 5 HP are good, but I like the wajax as it will do 30 metres of arc, and take the bark off a tree. Nothing like it for an area wetter.

I was thinking of standing the way and wetting down the area your side of the break, so sparks and the like don't jump so easy. A real crown jumper would need chain saw or dozer and hoses, but if if jumpds in ten placs as it might, you are cooked. Only thing to do with a roarer is start a backfire and stamp out locals fast. Shovels and sand works as well as water for the ground stuff.
