Les, I was looking at Australia's real estate a couple of years ago and it seemed that some 'good buys' were available, especially beach front (I like the beach) properties. I was dissuaded from persuing it further due to the restrictive laws regarding foreign ownership. Now it has appreciated much. Both apply to certain Mexican areas as well. I know UK is in a RE 'bubble'. Do you know anything about India's regulations as to foreign ownership of real estates? Or any recommendations of USA friendly areas? This 'global war' is really putting a damper on my traveling, foreign investments, etc. Luckily I went to Bali many moons ago when it was supernice. I really liked BoraBora but now even it has a problem, too many frogs.
