The escrows for foreign nationals from most countries are very quick and easy - I know from personal experience.

Most international banks, take UBS as an example, give the lender the option of denominating the loan in either U.S. Dollars or the currency of their home country, frequently at a mark-up over the LIBOR rate.

Many of the very expensive homes in Beverly Hills are owned by foreign nationals, frequently Japanese, French or Chinese.

Real estate has been an international market in large American cities for many years.
