It was much more than 'coming up with an idea', it was more like coming on with an idea, coming on very very strong ....

So if we give the idea the softsell its not unilateral? That doesn't make much sense.

Whether or not Blair lied, and whether or not his decision was popular in the UK are irrelevant to the point in question. they are very relevant questions for British politics but not to the issue of how unilateral the invasion of Iraq was. The same thing goes for Asnar. The point is that they did decide to participate and we did not hold a gun to their heads to make them do so.

Also there is the question "what's wrong in being unilateral?". If an action is wrong it is still wrong if half the world participates and the other half agrees. If an action is right it is right even if only one person does it.

By the way what is PNAC? As for permawar I think that is an inaccurate term.
