AS, I just watched Kerry's presentation at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention. Story: kotv.com If you have any pull at all with Kerry or his staff, please tell them that Kerry is looking and acting half-dead at the podium. His words was terrific, as a text, but I'm rating his presentation no better than a "D" in terms of charisma, emotional appeal and ability to engage a listener. Does the man know how to smile? Sheesh, at least when George Bush is shoving the knife in America's back, he's at least got a smirk on his face. OTOH, Kerry looks like an embalmer's model. Surely people in Massachusetts understand the term "lighten up", eh? Remember how successful Reagan's "Morning in America" campaign was? Kerry's is coming across as "Mourning in America". Close, but no cigar.
