MCDT acquires Nishin and Sanera, I remember when those were 2 pretty hot startups.

That leaves Larry's startup Pillar, I wonder whats up with them. Storage seems pretty saturated. Still MCDT might be an interesting speculation with an upgraded product portfolio.

There was more for investors to feel squeamish about. In a separate announcement Monday, McData said it had agreed to acquire two companies: Nishan Systems, a privately held maker of storage routers that support Internet protocols, for $83 million in cash and the assumption of $2 million in debt; and Sanera Systems, a privately held provider of next-generation director class switches, for approximately $102 million in cash.
