I will try to be clearer:

It was actually a very appropriate post you made. But reading yet again how some innocent person died because people were trying to cure him of "evil spirits" touched a despair and an anger in me. My posting was simply to express a sense of hopelessness that in spite of our posting and examination of human nature...nothing seems to change as regards these senseless murders.

My reference to "why continue posting..." was simply my expression of frustration at the bestial horror we often see in religious fundamentalists and not meant to be taken literally as a criticism of posting.

It is unfortunate that our posting and the advancement of science and reason does not propel humanity beyond the scourge of the mindless and the emotionally maimed. In truth I think that posting such as we all do is very valuable. I am better for reading the thoughts of others regardless of whether or not they use their birth name.
