GZ, in the history of the Indian subcontinent, the nations of India and Pakistan were formed by the British on religious lines. India is majority Hindu even though it is a secular state. Pakistan is a Muslim country. Since its formation, their has been a significant amount of animosity between these two countries. As I said earlier, some 9 months ago during the religious riots, scores of Muslims were killed by Hindus and this was payback by Muslims. This would have happened even if 9/11 did not take place. It does not need a Osama or Al-Qaeda. It revolves around the demolition of a HUndu temple centuries ago and building of Babri Masjid (mosque) on that site. And then some 6 years ago, the Hindu leaning Govt. pulled down the mosque and built a temple. (Crazy today's govt would set historical wrongs).

And now let us wait for the Hindus to retaliate. I wouldn't be surprised if religious riots between the Hindus and Muslims break out in the next month or so.
