Let's take a close look at that "ruined the thread" comment. Face it, in the good old days you were licking your chops whenever some new "target" drifted by with an anti-neocon position. There was the "support our troops" thing. And don't forget all those polls. And then there was that "sure thing" about a generation of Bush inspired right wing extremist leadership. The world looked like a warm and friendly place for those that wanted to tell other people in America and the world how to think and act. GOD HAD HIS HANDS ON THE CONTROLS AND BUSH WAS HIS AGENT.

But things aren't so rosy now are they. It's not nearly as much fun since the reality of Iraq is so far different from the rose colored projection. The Iraqi children are not seeing the light. The world is still angry and still feels betrayed by an America that spoke of principals and acted in it's own interests. The American public is getting restless.

No it's not nearly as much fun anymore. It seems that only a few of the most radical are "carrying the flag" now. The tone is different. The shadow is falling on the rise of the Bush right. Men like General Clark are talking about the complexities of situations that don't show well in the light.

Yes, those you like to dismiss as pinheads ARE RUINING your view of this thread. Soon they'll be destroying your view of a religiously structured country and world where people do what you consider the "right' thing.

Better learn to accept it.
