Religion has, and continues to be used, as a front for the ambition of secular men. OBL is about as religious as the original Christian Crusaders. He is all about raw, unadulterated power, in the guise of religion. Yes, religious people are easy to manipulate, because often they do not see through the difference between following their religious tenets and following their corruptable leaders.

Not sure what you mean about 'Forget the WMD line'.

Yes, our national security is at stake. All the better to take an approach the gets as many nations on OUR side as possible, rather than trying to stand alone.
