IT’S NO SURPRISE THAT SINCE THE BLACKOUT companies have been
trying to find ways to generate their own electricity so that
next time they’re not left in the dark. One popular way to do
this is to go off the local power grid and draw on fuel cells,
solar panels, or micro-turbines. And low and behold, someone
profits from this trend. United Technologies Corp’s UTC Power and
UTC Fuel Cells unit has seen a recent uptick in product interest.
At least someone is cashing in on that long, hot day in the
dark!
