The SAT score adjustment over time reveals something interesting about our society. While the scoring for the Math portion of the SAT has been little changed over time, the Verbal portion of the SAT has been made easier by adjusted scores upward significantly. I am startled by the large number of native born Americans who are not fluent in English, even on Silicon Investor. They cannot correctly express what they intend, even when overlooking their horrific grammar and spelling. I personally think this is due to people reading less and watching television and films more. Just a hunch. collegeboard.com
