Chuck,
I never served either but throughout my life whatever positions i have taken are based on deep seated love of this country and what it stands for. I protested the war in vietnam but i always loved this country. Often got me in trouble with the hard left who we sometimes marched with in the vietnam days. When they started cheering downed american planes and american casualties I ran the other way. I continued against that war like some reasonable opponents in the US oppose iraq.
But no united fronts for me, anymore. They hate what this country stands for whether it be marcos because of some 150 year old grievance mexico or canada sustained, jacob and his band of merry miscreants waiting to see their wives in burkhas, GST probably a nice guy with conspiracy theory for every event and so on. The scariest thing chuck is that the dem candidates cater to this crowd. Bobby Kennedy made a distinction between anti war and anti american in 1968. What would Bobby have to say about Snider? mike
