I've criticized people of left and right. Haven't seen it make a lick of difference, for the most part. But if I'm in the mood to waste time I still remind people to stop the nastiness, just because I think it is such a waste of space. But you have to realize that I ignore a huge list of posters, so I can't say anything to them, since I don't see them (and am darned glad I don't) and I also skip over conversations that are getting really acrimonious- since I don't see why I should waste my time. So, while I don't approve of name calling for anyone, I'm not about to be net nanny for everyone. I think bad behavior is wrong, no matter who is doing it, but I'm not going to punish myself by reading sewage (right or left sewage, sewage of any kind, even non-politcal sewage), just so I can criticize it, to no effect.
