You do remember how your side crucified Clinton for far less than engaging the nation in war on exaggeration and fear mongering? Or the destruction of years of environmental work? Well, it's NOT payback time. The criticisms stand on their own merits and are richly deserved by a very careless bush and his team.

Al,

William Cohen, former Sec. of Defense, was on CNBC tonite. He says Bush needs to go up in front of Congress and level, stating we're in a mess; if Iraq goes under, the ME will be in turmoil; that we need a ton of money; and that it will take years to get Iraq under control.

Not only do have we had to endure an subzero president who did not get the most popular votes but now we have to live with an incredible mess of his doing that will take us years to get out of. On top of all that, he now is threatening Iran.

In the meantime, today, he went to St. Louis and spoke in front the American Legion.......please note.....he only speaks in front of military people and I use the word "speaks" broadly. What was interesting is that unlike other speaking engagements, the applause was muted and at least twice, he paused so that the audience could applaud but they didn't.

What's he going to do when they start booing him? Already his limo has to take a circuitous route to avoid demonstrators.
