Dean must be slowed down or Bush will be re-elected. Dean is just not the strongest candidate to throw against Bush.
He has two major weaknesses, no military experience and wants 100% of Bush tax cuts rescinded, not just the ones for the rich. Also, he's from the most liberal place in the nation. He has many pluses but too many minuses to win.
He will, however, do quite well in some of the primaries.
