That is right, the UN inspectors disarmed Iraq. Documentation by Iraq left a lot to be desired, and the job of the inspectors was never easy to be sure -- but we have them to thank for the fact that Iraq no longer had WMD in 2003. The US now belatedly realizes this, although I doubt Blix is waiting by the phone for an apology.
