Is it true that court rooms have Bibles, upon which witnesses place their left hand while raising their right hand to swear to "God" to tell the truth? While I believe the Commandments monument should probably not have been placed at the court house, I have trouble reconciling removing it while other more pervasive signs of our judeo-christian legal heritage survive.
