Creation science is a phantom. The need and urge to verify historical biblical statements of faith with science orginates in a lack of faith. Science can only deal with current phenomenon. The biblical fact that God created the Universe at some point in the past can only be believed, and never verified with current experimental data. The mechanical laws governing matter and energy can extrapolate an orgin and an approx. time of that orgin, but never the actual act of creation. What can be scintifically verified about Chrisitanity is its essence; for example, "they that call upon the name of Jesus will be saved--they will receive a verifiable tranformation in their hearts and the Holy Spirit of God living in them. The fact that we can dynamically verify and confirm the essence of the entire Christian dogma through contemporary data and observation validates Christianity for each individual contemporary observer. Evolution has a far greater dilemma; tt pretends to be pure science, but in fact it is pure faith. It has never been demontrated in the laboratory or observed in nature, yet it demands immediate obeisance as an unchallengable dogma. Evolution, as a religion, is similar to cultural christianity. Cultural christianity is an intellectual socialization into mores and values without the substance of Christ and the Holy Spirit living in one's heart. Since "Evolutionary science" lacks verifiable data and precepts, they must rely upon coercion and ineslatic thinking to impose their nebulous dogmas. I have never seen a physicist become defensive about the laws of mechanics or a chemist about atomic or molecular theory. Evolutionist are defensive and excessively dogmatic about the "theory of evoltion" because they intutively perceive that they lack verifiable contemporary data that an individual observer can verify.
