Apparently your education does not extend to the Marx Bros. In their first movie, "Cocoanuts", there is a famous "bit" where Groucho is describing a planned community, and uses the word "viaduct". Chico, the one who played an Italian, says, "Why a duck, why not a chicken?", and they go on confusedly for some time. You asked if my taking your comment literally was "anal". The meaning of my response is, no, it is a comic premise.....
