Briefly met with a friend of mine Monday night. A young marine who has just returned from six months in Iraq. At least, he is OK physically. When asked by someone if he had any ugly stories to tell, his only comment was "It was a six month long ugly story." Temperatures of 138 degrees in the shade being just one of the problems.
