Well Barry.....

I go to Cornell University. I would say that most kids that wear North Face stuff are from upper class families (The stuff ain't cheap). The most popular items are the polar fleeces, winter vests, windbreakers, and backpacks. I'd have to say that at least 15% of the students have an article of North Face clothing. But only time will tell whether this is a fad or something long lasting (i.e. LL Bean, J Crew). I'm hoping North Face will spread to less trendy places like upper class suburban high schools. Functionality seems to be the style now....go figure?

I'll give another update in a month when I go back
