IMHO, Clark needs to announce his intentions within the next seven to ten days. The interest in him is white hot right now and the "wave" may be cresting. He needs to end the tease. Pardon my language here, but he runs the risk of giving his proponents a case of blue balls.

An early September announcement by Clark might hurt Kerry's September fund-raising efforts. If Kerry has a bad quarter, it may be difficult for him to regain whatever momentum he had.
