Bob, I'll respect your wishes...

No full names or email addresses please. First name is fair game. Anything more specific than that isn't.

But why shouldn't the names and email addresses of RB staff be public knowledge? This is a major issue over there: they hide behind aliases, and apparently want as little contact with their members as possible.

They seem to think they shouldn't ever be held accountable for anything: sometimes they warn you, sometimes they don't; sometimes they notify you of a suspension, sometimes they don't.

One other thing they NEVER do is show a willingness to discuss the reasons for a disciplinary action, nor will they EVER admit to a mistake. Further, they're inappropriately thin-skinned. There's been lots of criticism of ragingbullrep on the SUGG thread, and much of it has been deleted.

In sum, their application of the TOS is arbitrary and capricious. Their attitude, and their continuing technical problems, have angered quite a few people. Nearly all of the many boards I regularly follow are practically dead. (The exception is PCBM, but they're nuts.)

I can't believe the utter stupidity of their recent behavior. The threads have been one big TOS war since last fall. And in recent days and weeks, that war is being waged not only by posters, but also by the site admins.
