The biggest concern was that bush really would convince people that he was a moderate or a "compassionate conservative". That rubbish has been put to rest - having an all repoob legislature brings out the absolute hubris in the cheneybush corporate welfare crowd. But it takes the soundbyte soaked masses longer than you'd expect to figure it out. Only raising the flag of scarrorism up the pole repeatedly has kept the chickenhawks afloat.

Not for much longer though. The worm turns when your own start doubting you. That's becoming more obvious with this cabal daily. Just give 'em enough rope.

2004's looking to turn out pretty good for those who want to see an end to this insanity. But, it's gonna take the country awhile to recover from the damage, and their cynical, destructive mindset. And their deficits.
