think the average Joe sees that the Iraq invasion was essentially a side-track that diverted the War on Terror train from its more vital mission and he will not be willing to expend much more effort on behalf of such a flimsily-premised adventure.


With the newspapers reporting every day that Al Qaeda and other jihadists are pouring into Iraq? Sure sounds like a War on Terror to me. Better there than here - and I'm not the only one with that reaction.
