LINUX: TD Waterhouse access with Netscape 7.1 or other browser?

I have an older PC that I am considering converting to Linux (P200 64MB RAM). I have used UNIX for years and have tackled an install/upgrade from time to time - I should be ok with Linux.

However, I want to know if anyone out there has Linux running with a competent (good) browser that can access sites such as TD Waterhouse, BOM InvestorLine, E*Trade etc.

Issues might include: Java, 128-bit SSL etc.

I spoke with someone running linux and he suggested issues with some (java? not sure) sites.

After reviewing Netscape's website, they seem to support Linux (esp Redhat's version).

I really don't want to be a tester of this stuff. I want to know if anyone has had success and provide Browser details (esp Netscape 7.1 since I like their tabbed browser).

TIA!
Sexton
