Mikasa Signs Merchant Processing Agreement with National Processing Company

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Processing Company, LLC (NPC®), a leading provider of merchant credit and debit card processing and a wholly owned subsidiary of National Processing, Inc. (NYSE: NAP), announced the signing of a multi-year credit card processing agreement with Mikasa, Inc. Under the terms of the agreement, NPC will provide authorization and settlement services for all VISA® and MasterCard® transactions accepted at retail stores in the United States.
Mikasa, Inc. is a recognized leader in tabletop dinnerware, stemware, flatware and decorative accessories. Quality and great design have been synonymous with the Mikasa brand for over half-century. In 2001, Mikasa was acquired by Arc International and the two companies compose the largest tabletop company in the world. Mikasa markets its products under the Mikasa and Studio Nova brand names.
