Hey lurqin' dude, my man .....

..... You are so totally on my wavelength. I hope to meet you some day. I love your quote in your profile:

He who isn't busy being born, is busy dying - B. Dylan

I also note now that we both share serious suspicions regarding the military's accounting for deaths in Iraq. This administration is slime. I have NO idea how they're going to get their asses out of Iraq. But if they think this country's going to tolerate this nonsense--and I mean nonsense--past this Christmas, they're on CRACK!

Baseball story! You think seeing Teddy Ballgame play at Fenway is cool? Check these out. JW and I have witnessed the following--

1) The Pirates beating both Koufax and Drysdale at Forbes Field in a twinight doubleheader to take over first place in early September 1966. The highlight of my youth. I was 16.
2) The first World Series night game: game 4 of the 1971 World Series. Pittsburgh beat Baltimore.
3) Mantle and Maris in 1963 at Comiskey Park. EPIC.
4) The Conigliaro beaning in 1967 at Fenway.
5) Mays and Aaron jacking moon shots over the left field wall at Forbes Field.
6) Seeing Clemente play hundreds of times.
7) Seeing Bonds and Bonilla at "old" Three Rivers. What a team. Those two, Van Slyke, and Drabek should have won one.

Just musing' with you, buddy. Let's meet at Bonds' new stomping ground some day. That looks like a beautiful park.
