Chinu,My post did not mention extremist in religions. Of course, all religions have extremists, but islam is a, man made religion, as they all are, based on a bogus god. During the time of mohammed, the arabs had household gods, much like the romans had there lars, and pentares. Allah was nothing more than the moon god, who mohammed took as special to him. In his political campaign to be a religious leader, he, by himself, elevated allah to the position of the one god, and even had the audacity to claim he was the same deity as the God of Abraham. All of this was documented on the "understanding islam" thread months ago, and if you want documentation, you will have to go through those posts for yourself. I serve no one.

Since the definition of "religion" has nothing to do with a particular god, and is merely a man made way of worshipping a deity chosen by one, or a group, of individuals. That is documented in any dictionary you choose to check. What we have here, is opposing groups of men, and women, that are exercising violence in the name of a god that they, themselves, have adopted.

So called religions, have no, or very little, to do with spirituality.
