Hi Waldy - The IBM rumor is still alive. Maybe we will see $7.00 sooner rather than later. Cognac and Cuban cigars are just around the corner. (Still working on my loan application to buy a box of Cuban cigars.) :)

We continue to hear rumors IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM) may be interested in making a bid for Novell, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVL). Speculators suggest the company could fetch $7-$8 per share in a deal. The stock has been trending higher over the past few sessions on the takeover talk and short covering.

Novell provides network and Internet directory software and services making networks more manageable and secure, integrating computer platforms, applications, services and devices. The company currently has a corporate partnership deal with IBM.
