Hi stockman_scott; See what I mean? Clark is just another military moron who will send more troops into the meat grinder. In fact, he's worse than Bush who at least isn't sending any more:

“Our troops over there are having a very hard time right now. If we gave those troops another division or two, they wouldn’t turn us down,” Clark said. But when asked during the post-speech news conference if he would send more troops to Iraq if he were in the White House today, Clark skirted the issue.

Translation: Clark is worried that if he says he's going to pull out of Iraq, he'll be seen as "soft" on terrorism (LOL), so instead he'll send more troops for stupid political reasons. The same thing went on all through Vietnam.

Not only is the Bush administration in "hope mode", most of the US population is too. Until hopes are gone, we are stuck in Iraq, and this applies no matter who is elected.
