Internet news is gaining in popularity while users of conventional media, such as TV and newspapers, are declining. It's been going on for a long time. Only Fox News train-wreck and Limbaugh type hate-radio gains viewers, and even then only relative to the other declining networks, since all are losing their credibility as they become centralized:
