26%? Jeez!

Re Dean's WSJ column, it looks like your take on much of it was the same as mine. Lots of pining for "the good ol' days" of Slick Willy; lots of vague criticism and casting of blame upon Bush for every lost job, every extra hour worked to pay for kids' education or any other perceived injustice; vague promises to make it all better; some whining about the deficit, which he'll instantly fix with massive tax hikes (magically without any negative impact on the economy); and lots of expensive sounding but very unspecific "programs" to right all the wrongs (oops, I guess he forgot about balancing the budget - or can we have our cake and eat it too?).

But it looks like lots of people are eating up his rhetoric, empty as it is.

OTOH, the better Dean does now, the more sure I am of Bush's reelection. Go Dean! ;-)
