K-man,

I bought Moneyball this summer for my son, then borrowed it and read it, too. It made a baseball fan out of me, and made watching teams (especially the surging A's) incredibly interesting.

I've seen a few episodes of the World Series of Poker (something new for me) and it struck me that a lot of the sense in poker is exactly what we are trying to do in our own portfolios, if we're wise. Fold early on crummy hands, lose only an ante, but push your winners.
