I see dealer. I'm glad you got it working then. Good luck
with it. I'm lucky in that I have two computers so I have
them set up close to each other during the day.

Man, you reminded me of my childhood days. I swear we were
the last people in America to get a color TV. At least when
we did get one, most shows were actually in color! My
parents first TV with a remote didn't appear until after I
had gone to college, moved out & lived with that
convenience for several years. They resisted cable TV until
I got my dad to come to my house to watch a Steeler game on
cable. That cleared things up in his mind pronto ;-)

We had a wringer washer & no dryer long after folks had
both a washing machine & a drier. It was one of the few
chores around the house that the 5 of us kids didn't have
to do though, so I never got to know the wonders of that
contraption. We did have to help hang out the clothes,
bring them in, fold them & put them away though.

We did have to do almost everything else around the house.
We had daily & weekly chores that had to be completed
before we did anything fun (and homework also had to be
done too). It never occurred to me that this was not the
norm until I was in Junior High School.

I was shocked to learn that some kids actually got
allowances ......... just because!?!?!? They didn't even
have to clean up their own rooms. And their parents paid
them for their complete lack of participation every week,
like clockwork! And when their allowance was spent most of
them would just ask for more money & almost always got
it..... no strings attached!

Unfortunately, I had to work along side many of these
people when they got jobs too :-(

Thanks mom & dad! Ya did right after all!
