Good comments.

Just one of several reasons why I refrain from using puts these days.

While it is not difficult to find truly outstanding short targets in the current insanity, it is extremely difficult to time the entry well. At this end, I'm just maintaining modest short exposure and plenty of cash to back the positions. Meantime, I'm coming to detest the word "patience". (g)
