Thanks for the links. You know I am not one who feels the VIX is any sort of barometer as to what the market WILL do; rather, it might provide SOME indication of what the market MAY do. But we have seen it far too often on the market- once something becomes very popular and widely followed, its usefulness dwindles. There is no "sure thing" for betting where the market will go.
