Up until Gilford I always used a discount broker. The last one was Scottsdale Securities. I found out the hard way, that when it comes to deciding what and most importantly when to buy and when to sell, I didn't know s___.! I now feel that if I have a broker that makes money for me (finally!!, he's worth his commission. All I know is that I tried doing it myself and lost my shirt. To each his own!
