Actually, when parasites are sucking your blood, a shrink isn't the place to be. It's better to take direct action.
Otherwise, you slowly become feeble and stupid, and start saying things like, "am... troubled... better talk to a shrink, they'll make it all better", and start listening to people telling you, "watch this program, take this pill, vote for this person, don't worry about a thing, you'll be well taken care of, we only have your best interests at heart! We love you!", as your house is invaded and civil rights destroyed.
But you knew that already.
