You know, John, the "black helicopter" crowd would fit in pretty well with the local W worshippers, they had similar attitudes toward the UN, and probably somewhat similar political sympathies too. Then there's the locally popular alleged conspiracy by Saddam to feed W bogus defectors to make him invade Iraq. Why, exactly, Saddam wanted W to invade Iraq is left as an exercise for the discerning conservative mind, I guess. I'm sure there's a "logical" explanation.
