Commercials' 137K net short cftc.gov So far the market has steadily moved against them...but they are still there hanging out the paper gold. Still one oz of paper gold equals on of the real stuff.... Great month indeed....congrads to the most ardently bullish. I reduced miner positions today....to 25% of portfolio taking cash to the same level....Weak close on the miners vs. at least in Gold's case a positive close is not a harbinger of great things to immediately come...or so is my memory. Lots of rather ugly reversal stuff after a higher opening....Cleared all my juniors except American Bonanza and Ivanhoe, if you still want to call it a "junior."
