Apparently the recent activity is probably due to the improved technicals (psychology). PCTL is currently fighting to keep its head above the 50dma. Yes, the line has FINALLY made its way down to 11...now we at least have some more support holding the stock up from the single digits. Traders must be having a blast right now. PCTL continues to have the top VC technology in the sector with a strong balance sheet, and if anything, that makes for an attractive aquisition -- especially at these levels. Unfortunately, Intel's dark shadow continues to cast gloom over PictureTel's prospects among Wall Street. The low-end Internet/desktop VC is still horrendous when it comes to speed and quality...many years off. High-end corporate systems are still the way to go in the near-term. This company should do well. The "next generation" VC is currently in the works between PCTL and NTT. Style Pts.
