You need to understand that intelligence is an inexact science at best. A better argument would be that the Bush administration was foolish to ever believe any intelligence gathered. The nature of raw intelligence is that a lot of it is wrong and only some of it is right. Its not a matter of lying. Nobody has that good of intelligence period. The NSA put all their funding into communications intercepts and not intelligence agents on the ground. This was a decision made many administrations ago. I truely believe that this is the cause of any current misunderstandings.
