OT Bottom line is that I simply don't know how to interpret such data. For example, in the first chart you cite, what if anything is the significance of the fact that that bpnya only got down to 25.14 in Oct '02, whereas it had been as low as 24.53 in Sep '01 and 24.30 in July '02? Meaningful or not? Did it signify anything to you at the time? Does it now? You suggest it is a good indicator of market bottoms. Is the rule simply "Buy when it hits 30?"
