I hadn't seen that clip before, but I have a mpg file of the first plane. In the sound clip there are two things you can hear quite plainly; 1. a jumbo jet passing overhead, and 2. someone praying to the god of excrement. I'm really at a loss as to why there seems to be this obsession with smaller planes. The sound a jumbo jet makes is distinctive and isn't at all like the sound of something like a smaller fighter jet. Other than that, I'd say the observations made related to the clip on the site are worth studying.
One thing a person has to wonder about is the total absence of any kind of frame by frame, or slow motion analysis by any news service in going on two years. There was a recent comment on the thread about the level of investigation on the space shuttle, compared to 9/11. There were lots of shots of parts falling off the shuttle while it was taking off, and in depth analysis presented to the public by the media. It's such a common practice for the news media to do when films of fast moving events are involved, that it's something of an anomaly when it isn't done. To date, the ONLY analysis I've seen along those lines has been strictly limited to individual websites. The relatively low quality enhancement done on the site you posted is nothing compared to what a professional studio should be able to accomplish, and is such an obvious first step in any investigative process, one has to wonder at the total lack of scrutiny of the video evidence.
From the frame by frame analysis you posted, it's quite obvious something exploded in the building before the plane hit. Comparing it to the small, relatively low quality mpg file I have, the anomaly is present, but much less apparent. I'd tend to say the representation is authentic.
I can think of a couple possible explanations.
1. Fighter jets actually were scrambled and a pilot was able to get off a near miss before the plane hit. I suppose that's possible, but on a clear day, in a city of millions of people, I'd tend to think there would have been some eye witness accounts along those lines.
2. Whoever planned the attacks knew the buildings were designed to withstand accidental air disasters. I've never been a big fan of the fully remote controlled airplane theory, but a homing beacon planted in the buildings strikes me as feasible. Maybe some military grade explosives planted around a homing device to soften things up a bit just before the plane hits? A homing device would eliminate the possibility the hijackers would turn chicken at the last minute and not follow through, or create the possibility the hijackers didn't know they were on a suicide mission. Just flip a switch so the plane does what it's designed to do when homing in on a landing beacon, and it's mission accomplished. |
