I'll provide one more example but, I'll show one that's close to buying time.

I've owned PVN since $2 and change. I'm working with zero cost basis shares here, not cost basis from an IRS point of view but, from the view that it represents nothing but profit to me. I sold half my position when I had a 100% return in what seems like moons ago.

PVN has a high relative strength number, 61 and rising. This is the range where strong moves begin. It has very good money flows and it's trading near a 52 week high.

PVN is currently working on a 12 week base. The base could go another 12 weeks but, we don't know that yet. I have it on my radar, looking for volume to rise as the price breaks out to a new high. If it does, I'll add another position. I won't buy until I see that volume rising above average. Jump the gun and I could get whipsawed. I don't have to get the perfect entry, I have to have the perfect exit plan. <g>
